🚀 Rendezvous on Friday November 24 for the 1st edition of AIM, Marseille's event dedicated to AI, organized by La Tribune and La Provence, in partnership with La Plateforme_.
AIM, Artificial Intelligence Marseille, is the first event to place AI directly at the heart of the challenges facing companies and organizations: major groups, start-ups, international experts, ETIs, local authorities, institutions, research, health, education...
AIM is aimed at all those who rely, or wish to rely, on AI to turn it into a strategic advantage, a lever for improvement, a new way of working, in a logic where efficiency must go hand in hand with decarbonization.
What's on the agenda?
The rapid expansion of artificial intelligence within companies is creating major difficulties in recruiting experts. How can we meet this challenge? What are the ideal profiles? Is it possible to train employees internally in AI?

On Wednesday, July 19 , La Plateforme will open its books of available work-study placements.
45 work-study opportunities with our partner companies, provided you meet the following criteria:
- At least a BAC+2 in computer science, science or mathematics
- Want to become a Developer, AI Specialist, Cybersecurity Expert
- Have the level required to enter our Bachelors or Masters courses directly from the beginning.
👉 Anyone with a Level BAC+2 and above, or equivalent, can come with :
- your CV to present yourself better
- his PC to show off his achievements
- his motivation and enthusiasm to convince
Our teams will be on hand throughout the afternoon to assess levels, study applications and perhaps offer a training course and work-study opportunity!

Last week, between February 22 and 26, the first edition of the Airbus Hackathon was held in Marseille. During 5 consecutive days, our students competed with schools and universities of the Aix-Marseille metropolis, as well as Airbus Helicopters employees, on the theme of AI, in particular Computer Vision.
The goal of this event was to develop the best algorithm to automatically detect defects on a device radiograph, by identifying the precise location of the defects (number and position of the defect).
At La Plateforme, 9 students from our Bachelor and Msc IT programs, specializing in AI, took up the challenge.
Congratulations to them for their involvement and motivation in this ambitious project!

Tech and digital remain sectors that are still not sufficiently considered by women. Between preconceived ideas and lack of information, women are still rather absent from these future-oriented fields.
On March 25, for the second year in a row, La Plateforme, the Mediterranean digital campus, will host GIRLS TECH DAY, an afternoon event aimed at middle and high school girls in the region, to deconstruct preconceived ideas from an early age and raise awareness of the digital professions of the future.

On 1000 m2 will be mixed cooks, local associations, wine growers, food trucks, market gardeners, brewers, curdlers, cheese makers, craftsmen, coffee roasters and florists...
Not to mention a photo exhibition, music and activities for children.
