An AI master's student, Wiem manages both her career transition and her personal life with a master's hand - an exemplary Platformer!
Wiem, can you tell us a little more about your background?
"Before the Platform, I had a completely different life. After an HEC degree in Tunisia and a Master's in International Business Banking, I worked in banking for 5 years.
Then came the confinement, and that's when I became interested in computer development. So I decided to start by taking an online course via OpenClassRooms.
When I came out of confinement, I was convinced of the value of IT professions, so I decided to retrain! I started with 1 year's training at Simplon, the equivalent of an IA bachelor's degree. Then I decided not to stop there, and joined the Platform's Master of Science dedicated to AI, to obtain the title of AI Project Manager."
Looking back, are you satisfied with your choice of career change?
"Yes, I'm really happy with my choice of career change. I've found the specialization that suits me best, AI, and I'm also lucky enough to be able to put my knowledge into practice via my work-study placement at Keyrus, a company based in Aix-en-Provence specializing in the development of technological and digital solutions.
And thanks to the Platform's flexible teaching approach, I'm able to manage my studies, my work-study program and my family (I have 2 children aged 7 and 3).
I'm really proud of where I've come from, and I'm also aware that I'd never be where I am today without the invaluable support of my family, both my husband and my trainers, for which I'd really like to thank them!"
